Her passion for sport began at a very young age. She competed on various levels throughout her college and high school and then decided to become a television broadcaster. Taft's career began with Fox Sports North in the job of a sideline reporter and regional affiliate when she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. Alongside reporting on sports, she also served as a contributor on social networks and as an interim host of many games. Soon after, Fox Sports 1 hired Taft to join the News and Highlights department. Taft has covered reputed publications and reported from the field for FS1. Concurrently she worked as a college football sideline reporter and was soon promoted to primary reporter on college football together with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt. In 2018, she was well-known after being asked to take over as moderator on the hit TV Show Skip and Shannon Undisputed. The show continues to holds this position today. Recently, she's been named the host of her own show CFB Inside Slant.
